Hello friends!
Here we are at another weekend…bring it! First week of school for many and folks are whipped from trying to be all they can be. Here’s a few pretties to take your mind off work and enjoy the ride.
Interior Designer Amy Meier showcased some beautiful before and after projects this week. Check out this one and that one.

A great friend sent me a piperlime coupon yesterday. Thank you friend! While browsing I came across these one, two, three beauties. Wondering if the belt on this everyday dress is for sale? It would look great on this bohemian twirl. And for whatever reason, this one keeps catching my eye (must be the red shoes). Navy. Totally underrated.
Two words: Target and Missoni. Get in line.
The Fall fashion trend I’m not really hip to quite yet is color blocking although I could get use to some of these. We’re seeing the trend in interior design too. Life and style move at a very quick pace. Somedays I just have to say, you all go on without me. I might check out the services of laurel & wolf to see what trends and styles would suit my home, other than color blocking of course.
The big highlight of my week was checking off hide rug from the wish list. I found this very affordable peanut at IKEA(!). I’ve browsed their hides a half dozen times and as luck would have it this light, brindled beauty appeared. The hubby asks “is it like clean, can you walk on it?”
Payday? Treat yourself to a new dress for under $100. Check out all these pretties at ASOS.
ASOS who? Your new best friend.
I think this one is pretty stellar and they have super cute maternity too. This lovey has a nice Hermes look to it (mmmmm heir-maze) and this favorite showed up on Pinterest this week.
In other news, I started a new editing/repurpose/ get organized project yesterday that is a ton of fun already.
Here’s a peek at what we deleted from a couple of bedrooms so far. Be gone fake plants.
That brings us to the end. I hope I put a little creative pep in your step for the weekend while you’re out and about. I’m laying low and hoping to squeeze an hour or two for some almost finished projects to share with you soon. But today I’m back at work and need to find:
1. two coffee tables
2. pair of oversized bedroom lamps
3. dining room centerpiece
4. good cheetah print fabric
5. some sort of repurposed round ottoman idea
(wish me luck)
Have a fantastic weekend! Blow it up.
xx
Jen
