This past weekend I made it down to the beach to work on the never-ending condo project and while I was there, treated myself to the Coastal Living’s Ultimate Beach House Home Tour. Holy living! The home is already sold and I cannot imagine the good times that will soon follow. Beach houses really are a beautiful addition to a family getaway. There are so many in the states that can be enjoyed and are up to buy or rent, like these ewa beach homes for rent in Hawaii, so beautiful and perfect for that little getaway, they can melt all those troubles away can’t they. Check it out…
The very unassuming exterior. Whilst it may not appeal to everyone’s taste, it’s structure is simple and efficient, allowing you to make changes if you see fit in the future. The concrete walkway appears to be level, which clearly means they have worked with a concrete raising company in their area to make sure it’s safe. Of course, safety is always the first concern when buying a house. That being said, you have no idea the party that is about to begin behind door number one.
Already gushing just over the front door color, Coos Bay by Pratt and Lamber, and this oversized silver door knob (which I think they might have got from a shop similar to the ones found at pushkahome.com). It was really big and shiny and had a great Alice in Wonderland vibe to it.
Its hip to be square.
gorgeous tile aglow.
A close up of all the wonderful pattern mixes by Erika Powell of Urban Grace Interiors (she designed the ENTIRE home). If you follow her, like I do, you are cheering for her throughout the entire tour!
The view from the bedroom.
The walls were covered in an oversized herringbone fabric.
More great pattern mixes
Beautiful rugs, floor and table…
gorgeous trim
The majority of the main level living walls were Venetian plaster in Seed Pearl from Pratt and Lambert. I’m not a fan of the current wall color so I’ve been trying to find some house painters colorado springs (or some local to the house) to do the painting for me. I think I want the walls to be painted light blue – it’ll look cute!
All lighting via Circa Lighting. Some of the best in the business.
Off the kitchen was the gorgeous Scullery. I’ve been dreaming of converting an extra closet between my dining room and kitchen and doing a mini version of this…dreams are fun.
In love with this enormous painting on the opposite wall. Love you to pieces.
The artillery for entertaining is standing by…
Another off shoot of the main living space is the study with pecky Cypress walls. Let’s all take a moment and pause in praise of pecky Cypress.
Forever a fan of this console table, similar one available through Wisteria.
No words for this next bath. Ding, ding, we’ve got a winner!
When you weren’t walking on Peacock Pavers, you were walking on these planked pretties.
This next picture should be titled, “how to hang artwork around a flat screen t.v.”. Fill the space you all.
In case you were wondering, this next photo was my most favorite thing of the whole tour (okay so the ping pong table is pretty tops). I’d love to know if its still available because I want. It gave me a great idea for artwork at the condo. I’ve come across a long skinny black and white version similar to this and why I do not pull the trigger, I’ll never know. Arrrr.
A sweet little window nook that again can’t help but think fairytale, Alice.
Opposite the sweet little nook was a wall to wall mini bar/kitchen. This stone took my breath away. Look at all that movement. To die. The fixture, just flexin some more muscle in case you were on the fence.
Render me speechless…the media room…and who is the stalker in stripes? 😉
Concrete side tables – we love you.
A sweet-as-pie bunk room. Can you imagine all the precious little faces tucked in here?
Yet another bedroom. This house can hold em!
I honestly do not know how Erika kept it all straight. She deserves a standing ovation.
Moving back downstairs, another sweet bunk room was flanked by four baskets hanging on the wall. Such a simple yet awesome idea that makes a wonderful impact and focal point.
I have to say, this little gem of a room was one of my faves. I’m a sucker for stripes.
Not quite finished! These lamps shot to the top of everyone’s wish list.
A close up of the gorgeous drapes.
Moving outside…its margarita time!
The new “Poolhouse Governor” lantern from Bevolo – LOVE U!
Oh gosh….now I’m even more excited!!!!
Where’s the lighter fluid?
Bahahaha…no doubt! I feel your pain. But we gotta keep dreaming…”anything can happen child, anything can be”
I love this home. Beautiful finishes, textures, ideas! the works. Thanks for sharing!

My daughter and I toured this home in August.I don’t remember the beautiful trimmed chairs at the end of the bed… LOVE THEM! These are by far the best photos I have seen of this home. It is breathtaking, but to date have not seen any photography that did it justice!
So sweet! Thank you! Forever a student of art, design and photography. xo
Thank you!!! 🙂 Glad you enjoyed the house!
Oh my goodness, every. minute. of. it! Way to go!!! And thanks for stopping by. <3 <3 <3
